Sick of packing up the house but there is still more to do. Thank goodness we got rid of a lot this summer - filling two huge bins of "junk". Cant believe the things you save and then never look at again for years. I am hoping today will finish most of the actual packing and moving of boxes etc to the basement and garage. Movers arrive on Monday to take the heavy furniture to a shipping container we have rented. I think it would have been easier to just move to another house rather then renovate completely as we are doing. Ughh
Hoping to go out for dinner this evening. Turkey is finally finished and our food supply is low as I am also cleaning out the fridge and freezer.

Good Morning Barb, and everyone else,
I lived through a complete renovation, gutted century home. Nearly got me a divorce. But the house was lovely once it was done. We made a lot of money when we sold it and bought our house we live in now, at the lake. Now my hubby is going to retire next year, so we plan to move up north to the Bancroft area. I would like to wait a few years, but hubby is stubborn. So I have started packing up now, a few boxes a week. Will probably rent a storage area also, makes it easier to apply fresh paint and keep things nice for showing, with less "stuff" around.
Pretty much eating the same thing as yesterday, have to use it up.
B- GNC shake, 1 source greek with walden cranberry sauce.
L- small salad with chicken, nsa french dressing
D- chicken thigh, few brussel sprouts, nsa bbq sauce
S- roast beef roll ups with nsa gherkins x 3

I can t begin to image moving. We have been in this house about 37 years. I periodically do a throw out but I have far too much crap. Also I have tried to get my kids to go through stuff they have left here. They keep avoiding it. My DH retires in fall of 2016. I think he will start tossing.
I started a new drug last night. It has left me feeling hung over and dopey. I am taking my new grand daughter to see Cinderella tomorrow. I think tonight I will not take it. I will be driving to pick her up and do not want to take the chance of not being sharp
Went for a walk on the beach yesterday morning. The wind was brutal and my dog started to leave so I followed him. I did not get my 10,000 steps in. Don't think I will today either. Guess I might have to use the treadmill.

I am impressed you even tried to walk in that wind yesterday. I am only getting my steps in now due to packing stuff up and up and down the stairs.
Haven't had any wine since Christmas Eve - I guess that's not even 5 days - I sure want some today. One bottle left in the fridge - all the red is packed away....I might just have to like white wine today
