RNY  6 Years 8 Months Post Op

Morning

Another Christmas done and although I love the season I am glad its over.  Going back to packing up the house in earnest today now that I don't have to worry about company.

Also time to really cut back and turkey is the perfect low carb/cal and high protein vehicle to do it

STEPS - Didn't wear my fitbit yesterday

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

    Premier protein shake

 

L - 4 oz roasted turkey breast

    2 TB of splenda cranberries

    1/2 cup of mashed turnip

 

D - 4 oz roasted turkey breast

     2 TB of splenda cranberries

    1/2 cup of mashed turnip

    1/2 cup of turkey gravy

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 731,  Carbs - 44 Grams,  Protein - 74 Grams,  Fiber - 13 Grams

 

All water - 3 litres - all vits

Good morning all. Hope everyone had a great holiday. I am exhausted. I actually slept in. At present I have not had anything to eat and have no idea what I am going to eat. I just do not have any interest in food at the moment. I will probably make a protein shake then off to buy a few groceries. I think after cleaning up it will be a lazy day

Good day everyone.  Back on track this morning after some indulgences the last few days.  Have to get some last minute stuff for my niece and nephew, yes I kept it to the very last minute but at least it is getting done eh :0)  Looking forward to visiting my brother's family this coming week, it is always nice to get a change of scenery.  GNC is having a bogo 50% off today and tomorrow if anyone is interested, its on everything in the store, I will probably pick up some of the rtd shakes.  My menu is a little weird I am not hungry this morning after eating some junk last night.

16 months post op

b - gnc protein shake chocolate with decaf granules added

s - slice of swiss cheese

l - mixed bean salad with homemade vinaigrette

s - at the gym sf grape koolaid in my water, I might treat myself to a "Grinch" shake at my gym, it is lc vanilla protein powder with a few blueberries water and greens powder, actually really good and Christmas-y green n colour.

d - farm boy veggie and protein salad and/or hot food, or I might get some Chinese takeout, I have been liking the ginger garlic taste of chicken hot pot (no rice or noodles) just the meat and veggies

s - heated edamame pods with salt

all water and vitamins, have a good one everybody!
