Met A Surgeon & Got my date

Well had my meet the surgeon appointment today via Telehealth. Was pretty cool to be able to video chat with the surgeon instead of having to drive all the way to Toronto. Anyway we went over everything and he said it all looks good. My surgery is now scheduled for January 8th. Have to go up 2 days early to do my pre admit appointment but thats ok! I am totally looking forward to starting the new year off with a bang!

Very cool with telehealth video chat. Congrats on your date. Now that your surgeon is up to date be sure to mention at your pre admit that any blood tests will likely show positive for H-Pylori but the surgeon is aware and you are good to go. I went through this and the nurse that reads the blood tests that you are taking on pre-admit will be calling you to say you may not be able to have surgery because you tested positive for h-pylori. Tell her to contact the surgeon, he will waive you through. I just want you to be aware of protocols and procedures and get that nurse on-board with everybody else. january 8 is just around the corner. 

My surgery date is in Guelph January 25/16

and I can hardly wait. 

So you like me have issues with hpyloric 

i tested positive 4 times and had to do crazy courses of antibiotics , finally I had a scope done and to my joy I was negative. But going through the courses of antibiotics were crazy. But all that is behind me. 

Kris I'm  sure you will do excellent and your mind set and being so possitive I'm sure you will do great.
