So.......

My orientation was yesterday December 7th 2015 and I felt alone. Everyone had there support people except myself. Nevertheless I went with my head high heard the same info I already educated myself on and left.

I'm so happy how things happened / happening so fast for me.

God is amazing. I already have my sleep study complete from prior to my orientation.

I attended Warton Medical Clinic as well as see my family.

My nurse appointment is in February. Can't wait to be in the ball. In the meanwhile I'm going to get all things prepared for this weightloss journey.

I went alone to all my appointments too though my family is supportive. Fact is with this group you are never alone!

All the best on this incredible journey...it's absolutely life changing in the very best way!

Don't feel alone!

My husband comes to the clinic with me but I end up going into my appointments by myself. I find it easier. I also am always on this forum checking up on others and asking lots of questions.

You'll find all of the support you need here. Everyone on here is so lovely and willing to answer any questions.

my orientation is at HRRH on Dec 10 (this Thurs)...I will be by myself as well, but that's ok :)

My husband wanted to come, but seeing I have to leave the house about 6:30 am, he will need to get the kids organized and off to school.

what hospital are you going through?  I have my sleep study this Sunday too :)

Welcome to the weight loss journey. As you start your journey every step of the way you will get more and more engulphed in this journey.

You are at the start and I'm near the end I see my surgeon dec/15/15 and surgery in January.

Some tips of advice  that I could give would be for you to start your goals NOW.

You will be weighed at every appt and they love the ones that always have a weight loss.

Doesnt matter if it's one pound have a goal to be down at every visit. ( they love that shows initiative to them. )

Try to look ahead and get the things that are issues done ASAP.

So you are doing all the right things.

Take it very seriously and your journey will be one of good memory Rather than disaster.

I completed all my appt in 3-4 months so it will go quick.

Find out all info you can, the more you know the better choices you will make.

This site is a wealth of of good and bad and you can see who has the right goals in mind and proper mindset.

one last tip. Don't do this alone , have a family or friend involved with you. You will find the more support you have the better you will do.

Welcome and good luck.
