Surgery went well

Thanks for all the good wishes today. I think it was the universe's way to let me know I made the right decision. It went really well. I'm in a little pain and the drugs are taking the edge of. I'm tolerating juice and water fine. I haven't been able to get up and walk yet because the drugs make me feel stoned and unstable. My rheumatic arthritis doesn't help either.  Once my nurse is finished with her rounds I think I'll put my jammies on and take a strolll.

That's great to hear.  I'm so happy for you!  You're well enough to post on the forum so that says a lot right there.

I hope you get a good night's sleep and I'm looking forward to hearing about that stroll.

So happy to hear you are doing well.  When do you get to Ho home?

I could have gone home today but opted to stay another night. The IV pain management is better than liquid Tylenol with codiene. I'm more comfortable tonight than last night so a good night's sleep will help when I get home.

Congrats!! We had surgery the same day. It will be nice having someone going through the same things at the same time.
