Not knowing which centre you are from makes it hard to determine if the eating plan you are on is right or if you are making mistakes... but I was blown away by the calorie count.  and at 17 days I couldn't consume a whole RTD protein shake at a meal time. a Premier shake for me was half at morning snack and half at afternoon snack.  Oatmeal is something I would avoid for....... well I'm 2 years plus and still don't eat it. In the puree stage it clumped in my pouch and hurt like hell and so well I stayed away from it and now it's carbs. My point is this is the stage where you will be creating good or bad eating habits. Take some time and assess what you want to be doing in a year from now and slowly start building those habits. Good Luck and mostly I hope we don't scare or depress you that's not our intentions just giving advice :)

even during the honeymoon period, I lost about 10 pounds per month, painfully slow by most standards. Everyone is different, don't compare yourself to others, it just messes with your head. You are in the dreaded 3 week stall, out the scale away for a few weeks and just focus on healing and being healthy. The weight is going to come off, don't you worry a bit!

Sounds like your doing a lot of the right things. The more carbs you cut out the better the results.  Oatmeal has a lot of carbs and is the reason it's popular for breakfast.  As for peanut butter ,yes it has protein but also a lot of sugar that increases your carb intake. A great rule is to eliminate all sugar. So read the labels and if it contains sugar it's a pass. Only until you get on a role of great weight loss.

The one great thing your doing is to write  everything you eat down.  That's a real help for you to see your progress.

Try going with all protein , not saying no carbs but the less carbs the greater your weight loss.

By decreasing the carbs allows your body to spill ketones witch  will activate more weight loss.

As  for being 19 days post-op you should have much better results than one pound a week.  Be aware that you are not drinking your calories as this is easy to do without realizing it's happening.

Sticking to proteins allows great muscle recovery during weight loss. I know several people who have eliminated sugar altogether. Don't know how as I have a sweet tooth also. Thank god for sweetener.

Keep up the great work and wish you a healthy journey.
