Left side pain and the feel of something tugging is completely normal.  They do most of the work from that side so it takes the longest to heal.  One day you may feel almost like a pop on that side and then usually the pain goes away.  There is an internal stitch on that side and when it heals and let's go, the tight pulling feeling goes away.  If you think it's more painful than it should be then definitely call your centre to discuss with them.

This is totally normal. Just remember there are 5-6 probes that enter your abdomen and are very close to your rib cage. Also it depend if the dr. Is right or left hand dominate when he does surgery. As this is the probe that would get the most use.  So in this case I'm sure he Is left hand dominate during surgery. All is good as this will go away. As for the abdominal pain this also is normal. You've had your stomach and bowel re-routed it's only normal to have this discomfort.  The recovery time is usually 6 weeks. So your best to do what ever provides you the most comfort.

Also im sure you've been told that activity is your best friend.

Walking is great or just keep moving.

The more active you are the faster your recovery.

good luck in your journey.
