Good morning :)

You'll have to let me know how the turkey brining goes - I've never done it myself.  I wish I was celebrating another Thanksgiving tomorrow - a day off would be LOVELY, not to mention the turkey ;)

Off to work for another fun-filled day, rushing to finish my assignment in any spare moment (haha yeah, that's not happening - everyday I drag my text etc. to work and everyday it sits on my desk unopened, only to be taken home again each night), not sure what else. Barb, you'll have to share the temps where you are so I can live vicariously. ;)

9.5 years post-op

-- coffee with cream x 4 over the day --

B - GNC Total Lean (pumpkin spice)

S - ham & egg cup, 2 slices of tomato

L - buying lunch today at the C Café - they call it the "Total K. O." (they renamed all their dishes when the Pan/Parapan Am games were here) - house-made pita stuffed with 4-5 oz warm chicken breast, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, garlic aioli, cucumbers with a side salad - I'll eat a couple of bites of the pita, but really just want the guts and salad

S - any leftover lunch I would imagine

D - BBQ burger all the fixings (old cheddar, tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles), no bun

S - likely just coffee/tea

Happy Hump day!

K. :)

Brined turkeys cook much faster and they also brown very easily, keep an eye on it.  We often have to cover it or the skin will get almost black but yet not burned.  The meat is extremely juicy when brined.
