Travel after surgery

You can always rent a wheelchair or scooter for the Disney Parks. Bring your own food to the parks and have garden grocer online deliver to your hotel. Pack your protein powders.  Nothing would stop me!  People go to Mexico for the surgery and fly home within a couple days, so flying won't be a problem.  You'll have to rest a lot though probably during your second week. I WOULD GO!  I might avoid the rollarcoasters though. I've been to Disney World several times and I know you'll have a great time with a scooter and a barrel of protein powder. The restaurants there at great too! If you tell them you just have surgery, they'll prepare something you are able to eat.

It would not be a good idea. As others have said I was napping a lot the first week. There will be few rides you could go ion. You would have just had major surgery. You could not take being jostled around. SO will have paid a lot to go into Disney and not be able to enjoy most of the park.
