GNC Protein Shakes

I went to GNC yesterday to stock up on my favorite protein shakes. It was a bad news/good news event. The bad news was that the member price for a 12-pack has gone up from $19.99 to $24.99. When I went to the cash, the clerk told me they had a BOGO sale and the second one would be half price at $12.50. That was the good news. The total with HST for 2 was $41 or $42 (senior moment here) which is better than the old price for 2 12 packs.

The clerk also told me that if I get tired of the taste to put in some instant coffee to spruce it up.

During BOGO, they always go back up to 24.99 but after BOGO, they go back to 19.99  Still a good price when they are BOGO but I find it stupid they put the price up then offer a sale.  

Which ones to you get Keith?  I'm getting extremely sick of Premier and don't like powdered protein at all... 

I have both chocolate and vanilla on the go right now. I have done the instant coffee trick with both and am enjoying the variety. I also like the banana and strawberry once in a while.

I recall my first GNC shake being sickeningly sweet when I had one right after my surgery. Fortunately my taste buds have changed now and I get my protein breakfast every day. I have a lung drive into work and enjoy a shake in the car along with a few chapters from a good audiobook.

They are called GNC Total Lean Shakes.  They are pre-made ones like the Premier, they also have a powder but it's the RTD ones that most of us get.
