Surgery was Nov 13
I was discharged yesterday, I had wicked bad gas pains, I just kept walking trying to toot them out, finally felt relief this morning. I have to stay in Toronto and go back to HRH on Monday at 10, to check in with them before being formally discharged. Something new apparently. I really just want to go home. But will stay one more night in Toronto. Today I find my calves are super tight, and my neck and chest are sore. I assume as the days go on it will lessen up. Today I'm just trying to get my food and protein and water in. I can't wait to go home and see my kids tomorrow.
Hi
I had the gas pain, today some pain at my incision sites that really took my breath away. My husband called dr glazer and he asked plus plus questions. He was surprised I was not at clinic today. No one told us. I have a follow up in December 16 so now just sipping, walking around, tooting and just trying to be strong. I have cried a couple of times.
The follow up they requested me to go to was a joke. I was there at 10 am, like they told me and my surgeon Dr Huynh was no where to be found, Dr Hagan was downtown Toronto, Dr Klein was just going into surgery. The receptionist seemed to not know anything about these follow up appointments. I waited around till 1130 then left. There were 3 other people behind me who also were told to come back on the Monday. Pretty frustrating to say the least. But on the plus side my calves are normal now and I'm adjusting to my new pouch!! Gas pains have subsided, thank goodness!!
