Surgery tomorrow!
Last day of Optifast today. Surgery is scheduled for noon tomorrow at Humber with Dr.Klein (unless they call today with a different time). Honestly it wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be getting through these past two weeks. It really helped that I am with Humber and was allowed cucumber, celery, peppers, etc... Now I am really focused and excited about starting this new chapter of my life tomorrow. I'm a little nervous about complications but mostly just hopeful for what the future holds for me. Wish me luck!
Sending positive thoughts your way! I would tell you not to worry about complications because that is something that you cannot control but I know you still will. Make sure you follow their instructions postop and if anything doesn't feel right head back to the doctor. Congratulations!

1 year follow up - Lost 82% of my excess body fat. Starting weight 315lbs, today 151lbs.
Don't forget earplugs! My roommate wasn't the problem - but the alarm on my bed was constantly beeping. Every hospital floor has a "screamer" -- ours kept saying "There's no hope! There's no hope!" so we tuned him out. I envy that you are going to this brand new high tech hospital. Wishing you a smooth procedure and easy recovery.
Best wishes for a great surgery day. When you walk into the operating room and if it is even 1 min after 12 noon. Smile and look straight into each medical attendant's eyes and put a song in your voice "Good Afternoon team". They like that sort of stuff. Be a good patient and lie still for the camera. Yay, Optifast is done.
