Introducing myself
Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Cathy and I'm 54 years old! I'm so excited today because I have my appointment with the surgeon at TWH ... I should say I'm excited and a little nervous too. I have read through many of your posts and you all inspire me and provide some helpful hints ... THANK YOU! I started this process on December 9, 2014 so I'm looking forward to the next steps!
Welcome, Cathy! I met with Todd Penner at TWH, very nice man. Easy to talk to. I hope you have a similarly pleasant experience. Make sure you walk away with a new binder--the nurse almost didn't give me one because they were out! It's chuck full of useful information including pre-surgery checklists.
My surgery is today. :)

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.
