Pre-op NSV!
I've been working towards improved health since March (meaning, watching what I eat + exercise). I did have a period where I binged after I got my surgery date... because I suddenly freaked out over never eating sugary deliciousness again. Anyway, with that behind me, I have lost 50 pounds this year (I gained 40 last year after being on prednisone for 6 months).
Today I was at the doctor, which I hate because the chairs are really old and tiny and make my thighs hurt to squeeze into them. Well, I was sitting there, waiting, and suddenly realized... I fit in the chair just fine... no pain. Woohoo! It was an amazing feeling.
I can't wait for many more NSV to come.
