Vitamins
I buy equate calcium from Walmart, sometimes I get the one from shoppers too. They're kinda big but I don't have any issues with them. Same with my vitamin D. I get take a prenatal vitamin and I buy feramax (iron, I'm anemic) from wherever I'm at, usually Shoppers or the pharmacy at Walmart. I take b12 shots too. Lots of this stuff you can get a Costco too, pretty cheap. I don't buy anything online.

The Opurity vitamins on Unjury are good. I got the calcium citrate and the multivitamin for RNY and sleeve patients. I ended up paying a lot with the currency exchange and then customs Canada hit me with a 30$ import fee (so much for free trade). I also bought the Unjury chicken broth, I highly recommend it. I'm running out now and I think I'm going to order more as I can't find anything like it here.
Now at a month post op I'm having trouble with the chewables. My taste buds have changed a lot it think. I cannot tolerate anything too sweet anymore. They are an orangey taste, I liked them quite a bit pre-op, but now... blech. Also you have to take the vitamins with food (that does include protein shakes while on liquids). I found that out the hard way after I took my multivitamin on an empty stomach and was vomiting 15 mins later. So now that I'm in the soft food stage I'm eating my protein but then to get in all the vitamins too.. It's a struggle.
LOng story short, two days ago I ordered the mulitvitamin patch from Patch MD. 18$ US/ month plus shipping, goodness knows the duty I'll have to pay, I bought a 4 month supply. The good thing about these patches is that B12 and calcium citrate are included with the rest of the typical assortment of vitamins and minerals, I had to take these seperately before. I will continue to take CoQ10 and Biotin and Omega 3 as recommended by my surgeon but I found a Webber Omega3 that is small (have you seen the typical size of those horse pills?), the rest are very manageable.
By the way PatchMD has a 40% off sale until the end of Oct. I had already purchased mine from the Bariatric Pal Store when I saw the sale darn it!
i buy my b12 and multivitamin from vitacost.com they have some pretty good sales sometimes. My calcium citrate i order from no frills i ask the pharmacist to order 3 bottles at a time. All you need to do is ask them to order this #npn 80003262 any pharmacy can order this chewable calcium citrate. It is chewable and approx $12 for 60 chewables. vitamin D i buy at shoppers its chewable. and i buy my feramax from no frills.

I buy my chewable multi-vitamins and chewable calcium citrate from Unjury. Only once did I have to pay duty. As mentioned by Chanti, the chicken soup protein powder is really good. The other flavours are okay...the chocolate one makes a nice hot chocolate when made with skim milk. The liquids can be heated up to 140F...if you order the starter kit, they give you samples of the flavours, a shaker and thermometer.
Unjury has also just come out with a multi-vitamin in capsule form which is good for those that don't like the flavour of the chewable multi's. I had a problem with them at first but I'm not sure if I'm getting used to them or what but they are not too bad now at 7 months out. The calcium is tasty and quite sweet...I take them as my dessert at lunch and supper.
I hope this helps.
Tammy :)

Holy Smokes! I've lost 100 pounds from my heaviest weight! Yay me!!!
I went to my local drugstore, but couldn't find multivitamins with 18mg of iron. Also they didn't have calcium citrate. I went to Kardish a local health food store and found everything I was looking for. The staff there were even more knowledgable than the pharmacist. I suggest you try looking at health food stores, worked better for me.
