First appointments ...finally

It took them a year(without 2 weeks) from orientation. I got a call today from st Joe Hamilton. My first app is on nov 2nd 2015.

The mail from them will be tomorrow or on Monday. Does anyone know what to expect? I know that the paper work must be done.

I went through St Joes Hamilton as well. I kept everything, so I just looked at my 1st appointment letter.

I had 2 appts scheduled for that first day...nurse and social worker. You need to have all your paper work filled out and I was given a blood requisition as they want up to date bloodwork. I was able to book all my appts at the desk before I left that day...and had them all within a week. (cancelations are easy to get when you are there in person-- forget about getting one by calling in! )

Things move REALLY fast from now on. I was held up a month waiting on a gastroscopy....had I had it done already my surgery would have been even quicker. But from my first appt to surgery date was just over 2mths ( and 1month of that was waiting for the scope and results!!)
