When I feel in doubt - I too go back to my TWH binder and cookbook (https://www.chapters.indigo.ca/en-ca/15-off-weekends?ref=hb_pgchttps://www.chapters.indigo.ca/en-ca/15-off-weekends?ref=hb_ pgc). I also try to think of how things might be a couple of months from now -- better breathing, mobility - being able to button up my winter coat again. Taking this in short term goals seems to help me move along. There is no going back - forward is the only direction, so have a good cry and then try to enjoy the beautiful fall colours as you head back home for your new life.

hang in there girl

I had my op on Sept.28. First day home I was so overwhelmed with everything that I just stood there and bawled and kept saying "what have I done". It didn't keep up and I have heard and read from many this "buyers remorse" is a common thought and passes quickly. I saw the surgeon today for a follow up and have lost 7 lb since surgery. That just makes it all worth while and that loss will continue, YIPPEE! We have much better things on our horizon so keep your chin up. It's right to reach out on here, others will give their 2 cents!
