Thanks Karen, "it never rains, it pours" , story of my life over the past year or so , and I don't even have to pull my hair out, it is doing it all on it's own. I am seeing the vascular surgeon on Friday, so as long as my leg doesn't blow up before then I will be ok.  The surgeon also gave me his cell number.... can you believe it??... if I have problems I can call him, I guess he would do emergency surgery if needed.  I thought that was awesome.

thanks again Karen

Now that is a great doctor. He's a keeper, but hopefully you won't need to use him!

Morning everyone. Glad you finally got some sleep CC, although drug induced, lol. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to. Glad to see you're not letting the situation get to you Zizz. It's hard to see the positive side sometimes so, hang in there. Have fun with your hubby Tracy and your get away. Judy, i hope your issue get solved pretty soon. I can relate as i was not feeling well for so long after my RNY. It was always one thing or the other. Eventually i did get through everything and am happy now, well slightly as i just had knee surgery and not loving it but, it does get better.

I have no plans for today besides staying at home and being bored. My knee is swollen 3 times than before, it hurts, i've gone back to taking T3 and it sucks because i hate taking pills. I'm still limping and using crutches and the store i slipped at refuse to take responsibility for damaging my knee. Seriously, they think i'd like to go through this pain for the fun of it?

Have the store's insurance company contact you. Expect a fight, but stand you ground. It's their job to make the process hard so that you'll give up. You job is to not give up.

Thanks CC. Initially they brushed me off and would not return my calls so, i obtained a lawyer. The lawyer told me the same thing that they'll fight tooth and nail has experienced it a lot. They didn't worry about the footwear when i gave them my money and now there is a problem they question them, pfft.

Thanks Nia,  I have been reading yours posts, and can so relate with your knee problems.  Don't feel bad about taking your pain meds.  You need them right now. I hope the swelling goes down and you start feeling better.  Did they tell you to use ice packs?  It may help, if you are allowed.

Take care,

judy

Thanks Judy. Yes i've been using ice packs as directed and the exercises as well. Guess my body is doing it's own thing.

Evening everyone! Hope you all had a good day and those with sore bits are feeling better. Crazy times at work as we're gearing up for another recruitment cycle at the university. I keep saying I'm going to walk at lunch but then I work right through and feel too wiped to do it in the evening. I really have to get my butt in gear. Today I even forgot to have my afternoon snack. Not good.

B - protein shake

S1 - 1oz cheese, 20 gr wheat thins

L - Costco chicken salad

D - 2 oz sirloin

S3 - 1 oz cheese

Y'know, I keep saying I'm going to walk at lunch too but it never happens. It always seems like a ****tastrphe works its way to a head by lunchtime - that, or at 4:30 when it's time to go home. LOL  I think it's really easy to say, "I'm going to take my full hour and get out of the office because I deserve that" but then it rarely happens. Because reality.
