My surgery was feb 3rd of this year, healed perfectly, was in the days of eating more food, was feelin great up until 4 weeks ago. Couldn't eat, keeping anything in, vomitting all the time, went to TWH emergency thinking they works put me in IV for dehydration.  2 and a half weeks In the hospital, ct scans, many scopes, barium swallow and motility tests. Turns out after the 2nd exploratory surgery I had lower intestinal obstruction, adhesions and one of my intestines had looped through a hole in my abnomonal wall. Lots of surgeries and I an now better. My whole point in this post is go straight to emerg iff you experience any of these symptom, vomiting daily, feeling unwell. I did not have the usual pain that comes with obstructions buy they did save my life at TWH. I think if you read this and you have any simular issue make sure you check in with your surgeon. I dint realize I was so ill and thank god I went to emerg or I may not be here now. But I never regret of Having my survey done it has saved my life in so many others way.

Wow, glad you got the care that you needed.  Thanks for posting about your experience, especially that there was no pain in your case, you are probably saving someone's life by doing this.

Thank you for sharing this.  If I read of someone vomiting daily, I will definitely tell them what you went through and to get to their centre's emergency dept.  Thank goodness you are doing better.

Read this last night before going to bed and woke up thinking about what you have been through. My op is next month and a weight loss doctor I know (former surgeon, very nice man)  has always said "surgery is fraught w/ complications." While I am buoyed by the many positive posts I read here, I very much appreciate that you took the time to share your tale. Hope all is smooth sailing from here on in.
