Had my 1st Surgeon Appt for revison

Had my first Surgeon appointment on June 17th, met with the wonderful Dr Hagan .. I have to have a scope done on Monday June 29th, then the trio appointment on July 6th ... so far a positive experience..

Hi donnamb I had a scope before my surgeon appointment too to check for ulcers as I had a history.  Try not to be nervous, they numb your throat with numbing spray and give you twilight sedation.  When I was done my scope I was like "you're done, that's it?".  It wasn't painful at all just a little uncomfortable and it was over and done with so fast.

Thanks Dreamy uncomfortable I can tolerate, the sensation of gagging doesn't thrill me... it will be here and done before I know it and I will be wondering what I was concerned about ...

You will not gag at all.  It may feel a bit weird.  The numbing spray totally kills all gag instinct.  It was really quite amazing I found.
