At long last I have reached my first real milestone 199.5 this morning. My surgery was Oct.27 2014 with a highest weight of 285,  after opti day of surgery 265.  I don't lose weight really fast like some people do so for me it seems to be taking forever. Although looking at the big picture it's over 10lbs a month which doesn't seem so bad but its like I am still struggling to work off every pound. I keep telling my family I maybe couldn't out wit or out play anybody but I sure could out last everybody on any island, I would be the only fat person left. I just got back from a 5k walk which was impossible before so I do feel great. So this post is for all the people out there like me that are not screaming blazing fast through the milestones, slow and steady still gets there eventually. Someday I will get my daughter to help my post some pictures. Have a great day everyone!

WOO HOO!  You can do it!  Go Wendy!!!!  So proud of you and congrats on your success so far.  My high school running teacher used to tell me "slow and steady wins the race".  I totally agree!  xo

Congratulations. Sounds like along with the weight loss you have gained some mobility. Congratulations

Congrats on reaching one-derland! As I'm learning as well, this journey is so much more than numbers on the scale...but this is a good one to recognize! Keep up the great work!
