I feel SOOOOO close to GOAL, setting realistic timelines!

I believe my mini stall has ended! I do think it is the change in diet. I haven't really been eating fruit much for the first 4 months post op, but did just add some last week, and all of a sudden, I have started losing a lb a day for the last five days! Not saying it is my morning fruit, but whatever it is, I am happy! I have to say, fruit is delicious to me right now, but I am limiting it to breakfast! AFTER protein, as my mid morning snack.

10 LBS to hitting the 100lbs lost, AND 32 lbs to GOAL! I've given myself a very realistic timeline, and am hoping to be at goal by my 10 month post op mark, which would be August 20th. That gives me 5 more months (and two days :) to lose the 32 lbs.

I think that is doable! I don't even know what I will look like at that weight, since I haven't been there since I was probably 13! Its exciting. I realize this is a life long journey, and the work never really stops. I am positive it will only become more challenging after I hit a year post op. But for me, I do find setting goals helps. It keeps me motivated.

On another note,  I booked another mini vacation! I love escaping Toronto! I am off to London England April 1st! Very exciting to be partaking in things I have always wanted to do, but never did.

Hope everyone is doing well. xoxo

That's excellent news on so many fronts! You have such a great attitude with this. You're definitely a motivator for me. (I got home today...had surgery on Monday...feeling pretty good all things considered.)

Congrats on your day! It DOES get better! Sending you well wishes. I'll say, for me, I started to feel much better by about week four, but by two months post op, I didn't even feel as though I had had surgery. That's when I felt totally back to me. Good luck to you, and thank you!

Love this post !!!! Well done darlin ! You have done so well , and like the previous poster says , you're a motivator for me too ! I know you can get there in the 5 months or before for sure ! I can imagine the fruit being delish , I've not touched it yet myself . I love banana and tangerines but the carbs in banana scare me  , and I'm worried about the sugar in tangerine ! LOL ....It's so weird at this point , it's like I don't want to rock the boat . I know at some point I'll add it in .

As for your trip , sounds fab ! You'll love London ( although I'd have preferred it if you'd said you were headed to Glasgow , my home town !) ...it's a great city . But I would say , if you have time , get on a train and get out of the city . Some gorgeous countryside , beautiful little towns and villages to visit , some a good ways out but some not so far from the city. I miss the UK so much , I've been in Canada 9 years but UK is home for me still .Always will be . You'll love it !!

Anyway  , again ...well done . Lets see some pix !!

Fruit is delish, and refreshing! I am not taking anymore pics until I reach that 100 lb lost! Then I shall do a new set. :)

I have some tours booked, pretty excited about it. I figure i will wait to decide on the rest for when I get there. I am not one to have a strict itinerary while travelling. I am staying right in the middle of the madness, I think- Piccadilly Circus area. Should be fun.

Thank you, feel free to post an update any day now Jax ya slacker! Inquiring minds like to hear the progress and updates you know ;P xoxo I come on the boards looking to see if you have posted. I look forward to them.
