Cooking for the freezer is on the agenda today. I need to get some yoga in as well, my quad is bothering me again and physio just isn't doing much for it lately so will try yoga as that did seem to help when I first tore it.

B - protein shake

S - 2 poached eggs

L - grilled chicken, greek salad, no feta

S - kielbassa, cheese, pickles

D - grilled chicken, greek salad, no feta

S - latte made with coconut dream, granny smith apple (unreal how many carbs are in one apple)

My freezer stash is quickly depleting, what are you making? I've had an actual craving for crustless quiche the past 2 days.

The carbs in fruit is astounding. I generally don't eat much fruit but around Christmas I was eating a lot of halos and I noticed that I started craving carbs (of any kind). I had to cut them out. :(

Some of the stuff is for me and some for him.  I have chili and beef stew on right now simmering.  I never put potatoes in the stew as frozen potatoes after being thawed are quite gross.  I am making a penne casserole with sausage, peppers, spinach, etc and then going to make a lasagne.  I never freeze the crustless quiche, I just make it in a pie plate or 8 inch pan and eat it daily til it's gone since it only makes 6 servings.

Chili and beef stew are the two things I still have a couple of containers of in the freezer. lol  It depends on what I cook the crustless quiche in whether I freeze it or not. If I do the pie plate, I don't freeze just eat it 'til it's gone. If I do muffin tins I freeze 1/2 and keep 1/2 out.  I think I'm going to make the pasta e fagioli soup this weekend - pancetta craving.

Sorry to hear about your knee, that's gotta suck. Doesn't seem fair does it, that we do all of this to be healthy and active and then our bodies don't cooperate!

Morning everyone. Had a busy day yesterday, i didn't have time to post. Glad that's over, hopefully it will be quiet today. Went to see the surgeon yesterday after the NUT insisted i see him again. She wasn't too happy that i had lost 18 lbs in the month and a half since i saw her. I guess the doc agrees because he wants to do ANOTHER gastroscopy ( i've had so many of these i can give an orientation) an U/S, CT and exploratory lap if the other tests are inconclusive. We'll see how that goes. Other than that, it's touch and go.

Good morning everyone.  This will be my last post until Monday.  DH and I are going on vacation, yay.  I not sure what my menus will be, but I promise I will try to make good protein choices.

Tanya, I with Jasper, this weather has elevated my mood considerably.  Karen enjoy the spring clothes shopping you lucky girl.  NBeatty, I'm so sorry about the knee, that can really mess with exercise.  Also, I am in LOVE with Moon Cheese Pepper Jack.  NewME I hope that the doc finds out what's going on once and for all, you've been through so much.  Wishing you all well.  See you Monday.
