Good morning Karen. I have been awake since 4:00am. Waiting for DH to wake so I can make noise getting ready for work. Frantic day at work today. This is partly why I am not sleeping.

I do not think I will have time to swim today. Frankly I could use the exercise for stress. However I am pretty sure I will be running around campus so will get exercise.

b yogurt, blackberries

l meatloaf and gravy, yogurt

s protein bar

d chicken, kale salad

Work stress sucks even more when it affects our sleep - the one time in our day when we can truly let everything go and relax. I hope it gets less busy for you!

P.S. You could always go and have a nap in that mysterious bunker they found which was surely built by overworked employees who need a "get away". LOL

I hear you about winter Karen.  At least now the days are longer so we get more daylight.  Got a message from my centre that my bloodwork came back with "abnormal results" but no details so I am a little worried.  Going to try to get more info today.

B - spinach and mushroom frittata

L - chickpeas curry and pork chop

S - 1/4 can of turkey

D - sausage and coleslaw

S - tuna, cappuccino

Totals: calories 689, carbs 22, fat 31, protein 79

as usual calories a bit low, will try to fit something somewhere to reach my target. Also have been feeling uninspired/motivated to exercise since my knee injury. It hurts to move and the thought of going to the Y to strength train only doesn't sound appealing. I miss my Zumba and cardio blast :(. Anyway, enough about that, have a good day all.Nia

Making up another frittata this morning with all the leftover stuff in the fridge, this one has crumbled homemade sausage, mushrooms, chives, orange pepper, feta and parsley.  Smells good, will have some for mid morning snack. Going to make a gumbo type stew this afternoon with spicy smoked kielbassa, shrimp and chicken breast.  No rice in it that's for sure.  DH heads back to work for a week today so have to get lupper made for him for 2 so I will drink my shake while he eats lupper as I can't eat dinner that early.

B - protein shake

S - frittata

L - 4 oz chicken, green salad

S - protein shake

D - gumbo ( haven't run the number through MFP for this one yet)

Good morning everyone.  The weather is for the birds, I saw a duck burrow into the snow this morning.

Pat sorry work is stressing you, but only a few more days until you are in the warm sunny Florida climate.

Today it's physio homework, a friend is coming to take me out for coffee, a little web surfing, and TV with DH this evening.  If physio gives me the go ahead to drive, I am going to try and go to the pool next week, this sitting around doing nothing is driving me stir crazy.
