Yesterday did a spin class for the first time in years, it was really really cool. 100 pounds lighter than the last time I took it, it makes a huge difference. My butt and thighs hurt this morning but my knee is ok, knock on wood. Yay!! Hope this continues!

My new book in a series I have been reading came out today and I just got it so I will be spending the day reading as much as I can as long as DH is busy doing something else. Book 4, I read in a few hours without stopping. Can't wait to start it. Have to go out in an hour or so to pick up groceries and one appointment then home to stay warm.
B - protein shake
S - scrambled egg, homemade sausage
L - green salad, 1/2 can salmon
S - protein shake
D - chicken thigh and drumstick, if I can eat the whole quarter, it's small so maybe, brussel sprouts, green salad
MFP won't open for me so can't remember the numbers but will update later if it wants to open.
What is the series you are reading Tracey? I need a good book. Btw I made the mushroom gravy last night to put over a stuffed chicken. OMG it was good. Even my husband complimented me on it and he's a chef. Of course he did say he would add onions, more wine and brandy lol. He always likes to change things up. I'm a recipe follower. He always laughs at me when I measure things.

I alter mine all the time and I do add onions and garlic and I sometimes use Marsala wine since it's fortified with brandy but it's a damn good base that is for sure. I have made it with veggie stock or chicken stock, depending on what I want to serve it with and sometimes omit the soya sauce. With beef it's really good with a mix of balsamic vinegar and red wine and forget the broth and let all that simmer down and it makes like a glaze with the mushrooms and it's really good.
I am reading The Clifton Chronicles by Jeffrey Archer. It's not my usual type to read but it got me hooked within the first 100 pages of book 1 and I have devoured them all since.
Hi Tracey...those books sound good. Have you ever read David Baldacci? I am wondering if they are similar. I have seen Jeffrey Archer's books but never tried them...will do so now...I am always looking for new authors.
Enjoy..

I like Baldacci. I like anything mystery as long as it's not romantic suspense. Archer is historical mystery or at least this series is. Very good storyteller with a twist of suspense mixed in. Am loving the series. If you have an ereader, I have all the books that I can send you if you like. Just PM with an email addy and I can email all 5 of this series in case you enjoy them.
