How does GGH time their appointments? (vent)

So I had my post op education class on February 9th and was elated to be called last week to have my surgeon's appointment scheduled on March 12th--the exact same day I go to Cuba.  ( I know...sucks to be me, but I was really bummed out!)  Am I now at the bottom of the list?  Have they assigned a surgeon to me so now I have to wait until he's available again?!  *sigh*    I know life will go on and things will be fine.....but it's a bummer.   Time to hurry up and wait!

No matter what, I'm in it for the long term so I just need to get over it.
