Hey Jax x...you look fabulous in your updated pics! You should be thrilled with your progress so far! Keep the positive thoughts going! I have to do more of that as I tend to worry about failing too much. I really enjoy your positive energy and will think of that when negative thoughts come. Kim

Thank you Kim ! I am thrilled and hope I can keep going to goal ! I too feel worry sometimes , especially when I read of regain and so on . But the bottom line is ,I've never felt this commited before and also I don't feel like I've had this much support before either . Between this forum and my surgery , I feel waaaaaay stronger than I ever have in my resolve to do this once and for all . When those worrying thoughts come along , we just need to push them aside and remember all the reasons we did this . We got this sweetie !

Hope you are well xx

Thank you so much for you inspiring and motivating post. I am 4 weeks away from the appointment to get my surgery date, and it seems like such a long way off. My wife and I were talking today about all of the changes that need to be made, and it seems a little daunting at this point.

Then, along comes your post with all sorts of positive reminders of why the surgery is such a good idea. I am going to great lengths to collect all of the positive messages, and yours will be at the top of the list. I am loving all of the support.

Thanks again,

Keith.

Hey Keith ,

I'm so glad that I posted this then , today . I know for me  back at the beginning , I read all these types of posts and it just seemed like a fantasy for me . Something that I was aspiring to but in my head wasn't real . I couldn't place myself in those people's shoes. It seemed too good to be true . But time goes by , fast !! And now some days I have to actually remind myself I'm on the other side of it now ...The surgey part is done ! And it's great . Yes , the changes are daunting , but if you truly want to change your life and health , you overcome them and it soon becomes your new normal . It's very liberating . I'm excited for you to get your date ! And 4 weeks will fly by , then it will be a countdown ! Which feels different from the appointment stages .

keep your chin up and it will be here In no time x
