scared to hit goal

This may seem strange...but I'm kind of scared to hit goal.  I don't know what life is like not trying to lose weight all the time.  What if I get there and I don't feel like it's good enough.  I'm pretty close with only 41 lbs to go.  I assumed it would take much longer then this, I don't really feel like I'm ready to get there yet.  maintaining scares the crap out of me.

Hmmm...

While the approach of maintenance can be daunting, I really don't see the need to focus on it at this point.  I realize you "only" have 41 pounds to lose to get to your goal, but quite frankly 41 pounds is still 41 pounds and as you get closer to your goal and you have less to lose, your rate of loss will slow down some. Why not focus on continuing to do well and actually getting to your goal before worrying about if you're ready? You've got some time yet. Sorry, likely not the answer you were looking for.

Karen's right... be mindful of where you are and don't stress yourself out.

Take care.

Just take it a day at a time. I don't know about you, but this , for me, has been more of an emotional inner journey than anything. I have now lost 76 lbs, and while i am feeling WAY better than I was at 262, and maybe even attractive, I still feel chubby, and can't really see the change all that much in the mirror.

Maintaining scares me too, but be positive, stick to the plan, and you will succeed. xo
