Question for the ladies

Okay this may be TMI...so I have 5 days left before my RNY.  My period is late.   And yes I know I am not pregnant because 1 that factory is closed & 2 I had a test at my PATT.

So I have two questions

did the optifast mess with anyone else's cycle?

and 2 how does it work or impact surgery if it does come? Just thinking naked on surgical table...

The whole process messed with my cycle. I started mine a few days before surgery and it lasted for 3 brutally long, painful weeks. I believe it made my recovery worse and contributed to my perpetual exhaustion. I'm starting to feel better now in my 4th week.

I shared Seyennas experience as well. 3.5 EXHAUSTING weeks of my period post op.

Mine started two days after surgery even though it was no due for another two weeks.

It wont matter on your surgery day - just let them know when you are admitted as they'll likely issue you a fancy pair of disposable mesh panties. ;)
