Optifast - I used 12oz really cold water (didn't always have ice available) and a shaker bottle.  I did 2 at work, so it had to be portable.  Take a look at your day and space them evenly through the day (I did mine at 6, 10, 2 and 6) and drink lots of water in between.  If you are allowed "extras" (some can have broth & sf jello, some specific veggies) don't be afraid to use them.

There's a surviving Opti on the Recipes forum (find one of Karen's posts, the link is in her signature).

Some people use lots of ice.  Don't try to add ho****er, it doesn't mix apparently and turns out disgusting.

Best of luck!

I used flavourings....peppermint extract with the chocolate. Also, mixed mine together then added it to decaf. coffee. I also used shots of Nestle Nesfruta...like MIO..flavourings you add to water. Strawberry Banana, Orange Peach Mango. You can also use Crystal Light powdered flavourings...have to add to taste with both. If you can drink Broth...Campbell's has great ones, Beef, Chicken, and Vegetable. Jello...I love Jello...lol sugar free of course.  Good luck! Hope all goes well!!!

Good luck, adding instant coffee to the Opti helped me get it down.

Shake and Chug.   Get it done   After 3 days you will be sick of it.   Shake and Chug.... and take full advantage of the Cabbage allotment.

oh.  and don't use less water then directed... unless you want to try to chug pudding.

Oh.  and don't let it rest.  for some reason it turns a beautiful shade of grey

Good Luck! I stated my opti yesterday and had a wonderful day :) Choc flavour tastes like a chocolate milk. I put alot of ice and 250 ml water and blended it in magic bullet. I was like a smoothie. I have not tried Vanilla yet - but as alot of people suggested I think I will add coffee to it. Go with open mind and you will love it!

Congrats on your date!  It'll be here before you know it

I loved Optifast. Both the vanilla and chocolate. I was on it for two weeks. Decaf coffee with the vanilla was great and so was tangerine/orange Crystal Light and vanilla with a sprinkling of cinnamon.  With the chocolate I liked banana extract and peppermint.  Other than the first three days transitioning it was a pretty smooth ride.  I had "last meal" syndrome for Optifast.  Call me weird.

Good luck!
