What are you eating/doing today? (Tuesday)
So sorry to hear you're not well, Tanya! That truly sucks. I hope you're able to keep things "down and in" today. xo

I had a rheumatologists apt yesterday. My gp sent me with the hope of finding some pain relief. She feels I do not have fibromyalgia. I have not thought I did either. Just a lot of osteo. However she also thinks I have gout. When I looked this up one thing to avoid is high protein fast weight loss diet. Guess I already blew that. It does mention drinking water. So need to improve that. I expected to go to work after but she sent me for blood work and x-rays. The blood test took 1 hour and the x-rays about 1/2 hour. By the time I was finished it was too late to go to work. I seem to be taking a lot of time off for doctors appointments. Starting to feel a little guilty.
I have had back pain in my upper back for years. It appears I have slight scoliosis. So although no cure I now know what is causing it. This getting old is not for the faint of heart. I see why people just give up and find a chair to retire to. Fortunately I know not moving means you eventually can't move.
My eating was off yesterday. Did not plan for a whole day at the hospital

Karen teases me about my ketchup use..but I really love it and now that I've found SF Ketchup...life is looking up (lol!) I also love ketchup on eggs and meatloaf, and when I ate french fries with gravy I'd also add ketchup to the mix. Now you know my sorted past with the demon "Ketchup". I wonder if there's a support group???
I would join you in that group. I also loved french fries and gravy with ketchup. Not a big fan on eggs, but yes to all meat, including chicken. I'm a child at heart.

Good morning everyone!
Being almost a year out, the "novelty" of my surgery is wearing off and people are falling back into old habits. Gave my hubby an earful when he called me last night from Walmart to ask me what kind of chips I wanted because he got one for himself. Really?
It could be the weather but I am feeling tired and a bit run down. So here is what I plan on eating today.
B - rice crispees / 1% milk
S - premiere protein shake (chocolate) with vit d
L - Tuna with light mayo and saltines + pickle and cheese
S - Special K Rice chips with sourcream (light) + bites of leftover chicken
D - Tilapia baked with parm, rice and brocolli
S - ??? Not sure yet (I've got to work on fall back snack ideas)
Have a great day everyone!
