Morning all :)

Off to work this morning and may have to see my family doctor this afternoon as my blood work came back a bit wonky last week and I had to redo it on Friday, an errand or two, not sure what else. I see it's snowing out there - that should make for a fun drive to work. lol

8.5 years post-op

- coffee with cream x 3 over the morning -

B - Premier protein shake sipped alongside my coffee

S - Greek yogurt, a few grapes

L - roast beef/cheese/pickle roll-ups (2), 1 slice bacon crumbled on top of spring mix salad and veggies with white balsamic infused with honey vinegar, 2 crackers

S - Chike protein iced coffee

D - bowl of chili with some shredded old cheddar on top

S - not sure yet

Have a good one,

K. :)

I'm hoping they are too - the Dr. thinks maybe the samples sat too long before analysis as just about everything was "off", not unlike my personality. lol

What is a flat white coffee?

Flat White is a strong, short drink of espresso-2 shots with steamed milk but not as hot as a latte. I love it because it reminds me of my childhood breakfast.

Karen I think your "off personality " is spot on as they say, wouldn't change a single thing about you.

Still in hospital, I think a cat scanis ordered for this morning.   Lots of screw ups with my food. As a result I ate almost nothing yesterday. I asked for a diabetic menu and decaf coffee. They subbed mac and cheese for the chicken stew and gave me fully caffeine ted tea

DH just brought me a Tim Horton breakfast wrap with turkey sausage so I will have half now and the other half later.   Morphine and Percocets are really helping. Sat up at 2am for the first time since before the fall.

Have a great day everyone.

CC..I just saw that you hurt yourself...I hope that nothing is seriously wrong and that you start to feel better soon.  I am glad that the meds are helping.

Staying in hospitals sucks. I survived my last one with protein bars and shakes.

Hope you are better soon.
