Scary Saturday.

It was very, very scary.  Thank you I am definitely trying. I have been counting laps I am trying to get to 10, so far I have only gotten to 8.  So I keep pushing myself and trying to go further.  The lap is from one end of the apartment to the other.  I just keep going back and forth.  I know I will get to 10 soon.  I love water, I either drink water, coffee or green tea everyday.  I am glad that they are looking into it as well.  I hope nothing comes up with that being said.

Thank you so much for the positive vibes! I appreciate it.  I absolutely love this site and all the amazingly supportive people! I am doing alright right now just still shaken, my resting heart rate today is a lot better (averaging about 98 bpm) which today is the first day that my heart rate has been below 100 bpm for awhile.  I have been just trying not to stress out, and just relax as much as I can.  I also have been cutting out caffeine.  I have been drinking decaf green tea.  So we shall see if that will help. I am really thinking that it is one of my anti-depressants that is causing the problem.  I was thinking back to how long I have been feeling like this (heart beating out of chest feeling and waking up in the middle of the night with a horrible headache) and it has been since I have been on the Cymbalta.  So I am thinking it could be that or if I am diabetic it could be that my blood sugar is dropping too low and I was not on Metformin until Saturday to help try regulate it.

I hope things improve quickly, they are bound to since you are determined to do what it takes.

I too have generalized anxiety.  It used to be called free floating anxiety.  Best thing I ever did was take an eight week course called Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. (MBSR)  Once a week I learned about meditation and its benefits to reduce stress and increase health.  It's been wonderful.  The same principles help me eat mindfully post surgery.

I hope you feel well and recover fully from the traumatic events you've been experiencing.

Actually, I'm sure you will.  You are a determined person!

Thank you so much for the positive words.  I should definitely look up Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction I think I have heard about it before.  That is really awesome that it helped you eat mindfully after surgery as well, I am definitely going to check it out.

I am definitely feeling better than I felt on Saturday, so I consider that a great success. :)
