Happy New Year
libra, I hope 2015 is a great year for you.

B coffee, blueberry french toast (1 slice) 1 source greek yogurt
S- 1/4 c steamed veggies, 1 oz lf old cheddar cheese
L- 1 c homemade tomato soup, 4 crackers
D- Chinese food apparently... I will pick veggies and some kind of chicken
S tea
Be well everyone
Tanya
Good morning, libra, so nice to see you. :) I hope this year is better for you. I've been trying to get back to OH more regularly this week - kind of an early New Year's Resolution, so it's great to see you. (Nice to see you too, Tanya and Tracey and everyone else!)
Usually, no matter what time I get to bed, I'm up bright and early. Not so today - I slept in until almost noon! Unheard of. But I consider it a pleasant start to the new year. :) That and the fact that I fluctuated DOWN a pound despite going out for New Year's Eve last night. Not complaining about that. I needed it, since I'm at the very top end of my comfort zone on the scale right now.
I'm not sure whether to make New Year's resolutions or not - sometimes I worry that I'll jinx myself by doing so. But I have been thinking about simple things. Getting 10,000 steps per day in (which I haven't done in months). Getting all my vitamins in every day (which I have been back on track with for over a week now). Getting renos done in the house (which we started before Christmas). Getting serious about cooking and preparing good food regularly for breakfast and dinner, and packing good meals for work. Getting serious about learning how to paint (which is hard right now in the middle of renos - the two spare bedrooms upstairs are in use - one is under renovation, and the other is crammed with all the stuff from it, including my art supplies). Balancing my work and home life. Biking to work as soon as spring weather hits. Those kind of things.
This afternoon we are going to a housewarming drop in party. Not sure what will be served there, but I'll try to make good choices there. I've been having way too much crap over the holidays. Also going to try to get 10,000 steps in - I asked my husband if he'd be okay with walking part-way to our party today and he was cool with that. It won't be a brisk walk since he walks more slowly than I do, but that's okay. It's something!
2 YEARS POST-RNY
B - missed breakfast, I was sleeping!
L - 1/2 cup ricotta/vanilla/splenda with 1/2 oz slivered almonds sprinkled on top
S - Not sure - this is when we'll be at the drop in party.
D - Finally getting around to making that chicken/olive/lemon tagine I posted a couple of days ago, with 1/4 cup basmati to go under it
S - Probably a couple of fancy coffees or tea (counting a glass of skim milk which I use for the coffee)
Have a great day, everyone!

Oh, I'm sure it will. After all, for weight to "fluctuate" it has to go in two directions! LOL.

That's exactly it. I think I'm in the comfort zone now, which is probably about 10 lbs above my lowest, but I'm okay with that too. In my case, better than 336! Good luck with the mindful eating course. I hope it works well for you.

Happy New Year!
I've been very absent (for me) from the board the past couple of weeks - time to get back into my routine. Had fabulous luck coat shopping yesterday and found a drop-dead-gorgeous one at Laura's on sale. Mission (finally) accomplished. Had a stay-home new years and managed to sleep in this morning as well. Sounds like everyone had a nice NYE - except you, Pat, omg I hope you feel better soon!
Libra, 2014 was a year of challenges that ended in victories - YOU WIN. XOXO And it's great to see you posting on the WAYE thread again - missed you!
