Intro

In August I requested a referral from my doctor. Because of my postal code, I was originally booked for orientation in Toronto. Since Guelph was closer, I asked to transfer my file. I had my orientation on the 11th and have my first appointment in Janurary. 

When I was a teen I had three back surgeries. After I gained over 100 lbs. I am hoping that having the surgery will help with my back pain and allow me to keep with with my two little girls.

Welcome to the forum, you will find lots of information here. Losing 100 pounds sounds like it should help your back a lot.  I have a knee injury and losing weight has been amazingly helpful at reducing the pain. Best of luck to you in your journey and hope to see you around here.
