You should be very proud of yourself. This is a tough decision even when you have immediate family support let alone when they don't. I am 2 weeks post op and my wife was Very afraid of the surgery until the day of the surgery and begged me not to have it. In the past 2 weeks since she has changed her tune completely and is very happy and proud that I had it done. Your family will come around I am sure. You will do great. Wishing you many years of health and happiness.
