Sour cream tastes better but I need the protein so I used the greek yogurt as a sub.  Another great combo is to add fresh chives, omg delicious.

Good morning,

Feeling sore and swollen today...boo. I have a feeling i'm having some ovulation pain thrown in there (feels like it, but with my IUD it's hard to nail down dates for my girly schedule anymore). I need to walk, so i'll do that today.

B: queen street bread and natural peanut butter. Protein coffee

L: chicken skewer and greek salad

S: rest of chicken and salad

D: unsure. Today is a PA day, and Rosco is home with the kiddos. We'll see what yummy protein and veggies he comes up with.

Have a great day everyone!

Just wondering how long after surgery until start eating queen street bread?  I looovvee their bean breads but they are off my menu at the moment as I am only 15 weeks out.

I really only started bread when I started training. I didn't want to build up a tolerance to bread and it took me a long time to be able to stomach them. I would wait until a year or so.

Good morning all.  Off to do my yearly stress echo today. Interested to see what my doc says about me taking myself off blood thinners. Since we can't take aspirin and I refuse to take pradaxa I will see what he comes up with. Not sure if I will walk to the hospital. Do not want to wear out my knee before the treadmill.

I am hoping to do the mindful eating class at TWH. I have a tendency to not face what is bothering me just go nuts eating. Not a good way to deal with stress. It is like I do not want to admit to myself something is bothering me.

b yogurt, blueberries

l turkey casserole.

s pure protein bar

d chicken with salsa, salad

s not sure.

Good Morning Pat.  Good luck with the stress echo, The last time I had one, I thought I was going to die! I was happy that there were doctors there close by. I am taking Pradaxa now, though I wish I didn't have to.  I am seeing an ablation cardiologist in January.  I am hoping it will fix my afib enough that I can go off the huge dose of beta blocker that I am on, and eventually go off the blood thinner.  I know ablation does not always work, but i am hoping.  Good Luck today!

With weight loss and exercising my afib is much better. I actually no longer had the conditions that put me on Pradaxa. I would never suggest someone go off a medication. I just did not like that it does not have an antidote. My appt last year was great. I stayed on the treadmill much longer than ever before. My doc just couldn't decide if I needed Pradaxa or not. I think he left me on it as more of a precaution. Good luck with the ablation. I talked to someone on Wednesday who said it had done wonders for her

Everything sounds so good, great ideas to find here.

B- ISO femme protein shake with 1/2 tsp of decaf coffee, cinnamon, chia seeds, and flax seeds. I usually add 1/2 a banana but didn't have any.

L- 2oz of flakes of chicken(made chicken salad, used 1tbsp of miracle whip) stuffed 4 small tomatoes with the salad. 1/4 cup 1% milk

D- 3/4 cup of cabbage stir fry. My plan called for 1/4 veg +1/4 starch and 1/2 cup milk. I just added the values and had 3/4 cup of the veggies.

Water so far is 36oz, and did 30 mins on the tredmill.
