Surgery Class

Hi all, 

Im wondering what happens at the surgery prep class. What should I expect to learn? 

Also, what are the average wait times from after the class to surgery? 

Any advice would be great.

Hi Jenn,

In Hamilton we did not have a Pre- Surgery class.  We did have a last nut. Class.  This class was about 50 min + 10 more if you are diabetic.

Just reinforce taking it slow with your food.  Getting your protein and water in, and not jumping ahead on your diet.
