Congratulations on your surgery and thank you for the words of wisdom regarding not giving up. Is there a lot of pain after this surgery?  You said that you started crying in recovery, was that just relief that the surgery was over? 

Actually it was because I couldn't believe how I looked! Dr Tumi lifted up my blanket and said have a look, 

I couldn't imagine ever looking like this! Before and afters are encouraging to look at until your one of them, its impossible to really believe its possible!

I am very happy you had a successful plastic surgery. It is emotional to see the results after. Just wait until you have your first shower and reach down to move your panni and it isn't there - thats what made me cry :)

It's really crazy, walking and my panni and mons not flapping around! Its an incredible transformation!

Congrats Annette!! I'm just back to work from my scar revision. All bound up with my binder. I remember an NSV when I first had the plastics done, was that when I went to brush my teeth, my pelvic bone hit the sink, not my extra skin!! When that binder is off and life becomes more normal, it's pretty amazing! 

It's amazing, totally! I still can't believe how I look! So far my biggest NSV, not having to move body parts to p! I know tmi sorry. 

I need to learn how to pee again. More skin was taken again during the fix. It's hilarious. I've peed on the floor. There's my TMI....and it's one that many shared with me before. I'm not alone!! LOL
