Dizziness
Question for the fellow benchers....
I decided today was the day to put the snow tires on my car ****rap tire decided it by having them ready, but that's besides the point).. anyways, I put the 1st one on no problem. Put the 2nd one on, and as I bend over to tighten the lug nuts, I see a few stars.. Standing up, I felt so light headed I called my wife to come out and keep me company, just in case. 3rd one goes on, as I stand up, light headed again. 4th one, I slowly stand up (thinking I may have just stood up too quick), and end up leaning against the car to support me..
Is this normal for being 2 months out for surgery? Or did I possibly just not have enough sugar?

It's pretty normal. You can google orthostatic hypotension. Basically it's a change in blood pressure. Go slow and allow your body to adjust then proceed to get up. It will also be exacerbated by dehydration.

While it could be low blood pressure or orthostatic hypertension, if it occurs frequently when lying down/getting up, it could also be due to crystals shifting in the inner ear. My friend and I have both had to see a vestibular therapist in the past few years for this. The good news is that it went away after a few adjustments.

Very common. I still get it from time to time, even though I'm two years out. Little trick I've found is if I feel dizzy after I get up, I slightly bend over from the waist, and it clears in three or four seconds. Take it seriously though, and if you feel very dizzy, hanging onto something won't help you if you pass out. Happened to me...was hanging onto a wall during a dizzy spell and woke up a few seconds later on the ground. Scary. Luckily, didn't get hurt.
