Hotels near the Guelph Hospital?

I have my surgery Dec 12 and need to be at the hospital for 6:30am. So instead of leaving at like 3am or sooner we thought a hotel would be best!  Especially with the weather! 

Does anyone know of any hotels close to the hospital? I know there are some just as you get into Guelph but my family was hoping for one closer! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There really isn't any right close to the hospital, closest is a motel, Parkview, there's a couple of bed & breakfasts closer, or there's Holiday Inn Suites, Super 8, and a Comfort Inn off of Woodlawn (a little ways from the hospital)...have you tried to google hotels in Guelph?  

I don't know but would like to suggest you call Guelph hospital and ask them. Sometimes there are even "hospital/hotel" rates for surgical patients at various hospitals.

Great thank you very much! I will give them a call! When i was there last  the lady at the desk wasn't really sure!  If they have rates for hospital patients that would be awesome!

I am from Guelph. Delta and Best Western are the closest ones. Corner of Stone Road and Gordon - 5 to 7 mins by car . There is also Norfolk Guest House on Eramosa Road - very close to the hospital. Let me know if you need any help in Guelph

My husband just mentioned that there is one hotel right in downtown very close to the hospital - Royal Suites - check that out as well.     

I've stayed twice at the holiday inn suites north of Woodlawn.  Very lovely hotel and if you have a loved one staying with you, they offer a nice (FREE) breakfast.  Best of luck on the 12th!
