Someone please tell me my neck skin will catch up with me... Im 30 with the neck of a 60 year old.  I'm assuming since it's coming off so fast it may need time to catch up...I've been doing neck exercises,,so heres to hoping!

Wear lots of turtle necks, I'm afraid you will get used to seeing your neck.  It's ok, we all need those reminders as to how far we have come.

It might catch up with you, but then again, it might not.  Depends on how damaged the skin was -- if there were stretch marks, then it will not come back, I'm sorry to say.

I was fairly lucky in that my face and neck ended up in decent shape -- even after a weight loss of more than 250lbs!  Other parts...think melted candle, especially my legs.  Luckily, there's a thing called plastic surgery if I'm bothered.  But I also sort of look at it like the scars after a great battle.  Now, I have, and will repair some of it (stomach/panni already done, and arms/legs in the works), but for the rest, so be it!  I consider the surgical scars and/or extra flesh like a badge I earned and fought for...and better that than the alternative of it being full of fat!

Good luck!  Do give it a bit of time, 'cause it can take a year or two for the skin to come back (if it can).

Bearer of bad news alert: we can't shrink the skin we grew. No matter what creams, lotions, potions or exercises that we do, we simply can't tighten or shrink any of our skin.

You have youth on your side though! Your elasticity is much better than mine is that's for sure.

Keep up the good work!

Didn't you just have surgery a few months ago? You've got a good couple of years to go through body shifts, changes, settles, re-shifts, etc. One thing I've learned: just when you think everything is "stable", it moves. lol

So true! My face keeps changing and so does my butt. And the butt for the better, so that was happy news! My face though, and neck go through periods of fullness to sagging. I look fine at goal, and it just sags under goal...even two pounds. It's weird.

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

I'm 50 and post-meno and the skin on my neck sags and snaps back.  Be sure to moisturize in these cool winter months (always actually). It doesn't make the wrinkles go away but helps with the appearance.
