I'm Home!

Had Surgery Friday November 7, got home yesterday afternoon... Was very emotional for me.. from the time I got there until I was put to sleep.. no one can prepare you for the walking into the surgery room to get up on that table.. I probably should not have watched Greys Anatomy Thursday night :)

All is well though, surgery went perfectly, no complications.  Not too much pain, a little sore from one of the incisions where they put the camera in is tender, that's the one they manipulate the most.  The gas.. holy the gas.  Its hard to sleep with the earthquakes inside me lol

Just going to take it VERY easy for the next week or 2 while everything heals.

Welcome to the bench!  Just do what your body says to do.  Walk when you need to (for gas relief), sip, sip, sip and rest when you need to.

Wonderful news that it went so well.  Rest, walk and remember to eat!  I am one week post and able to bounce back quite well, (I'm 51!)  Congrats

Glad all went well. Remember to do some walking it helps with the gas.
