HOLY COW..... I finally got the call!! Mimosa please :))

Lo and behold, I finally got "the call" yesterday from Lana at the Ottawa clinic to book my surgery date!!! December 12th it is. I cannot tell you how excited I am. I've been waiting soooo long that it didn't seem real anymore.

I just wanted to share the news and maybe give a little hope to people who've been waiting a long time.... Your day will come and when it does you'll be more than ready to take this on. 

Have a wonderful weekend everyone... I know I will!!

Dr. Neville, she was amazing.  Who is your surgeon?  I have heard good things about all and have no complaints, just very grateful that this is covered by ohip.  We live in a great country, that's all I can say!

I was suppose to have Dr. Neville but now it's been been changed to Dr. Mamazza. I still can't believe that it's happening. You're absolutely right about living in the great country :)

I know how you feel. I'm 4 weeks post op and so glad I did this. Good luck and please have a drink or two for me this week end. lol

Hahaha I'm certainly not a big drinker, actually I very rarely drink, but you bet your boots that I had a few last night!! Thank for the good luck wishes and wish you the best as well :)

Congratulations!  The next few weeks will fly by and soon you'll be sitting on the loser's bench. :)  You're in amazing hands at the Civic.  I didn't want to leave. ;)
