Leg pain
No, leg pain is not gas. You didn't mention where the pain is or what kind of pain, but I will say this:
Do NOT ignore leg pain so close to any surgery as you could be dealing with a DVT (deep vein thrombosis). Call your centre and see a doctor right away with leg pain - doesn't have to be a centre surgeon, your family doctor or a walk-in clinic - this needs to be checked out ASAP.

Edited to add: DVT = Deep Vein Thrombosis = blood clot

Yes get it checked out ASAP. I am two weeks preop, my foot and leg swelled up like a balloon(still dealing with a swollen ankle and foot) It didn't end up being a clot but was extremely painful. I am now having to deal with gout which I have never had before the surgery.
you defiantly want to deal with it sooner. I waited and was told if I had of been in sooner they would have been able to treat it a different way then now, which they are still trying to sort out.

I'm sorry you're going through that. I've had DVT a few times and it is scary business, with the greatest risk that the clot travels to the lungs. I hope things are sorted out for you very soon.
