FAR worse cramping that time of the month post op? It's never ever been that bad! Horrible. Thankfully it only lasted last night.

Tapped into my pain script they gave me, that I never took. It helped! A quick search of the site confirmed the first period after WLS is a nightmare. Hopefully they don't continue to feel this way. I could feel it from lower tummy, all the way up to my chest, and even my back and shoulders were crampy. Ugh, not nice.

Sounds a bit like a gallbladder attack as well. You'll want to watch out for that. Women over a certain age, overweight, and now losing weight quickly, are prone to them. I'm scheduled for gallbladder surgery next week, as a matter of fact, and the past week has been hellish with the frequent attacks.

Good to know it gets better! What a nightmare that was. Terrible pain.
OK so this is one thing I'm not looking forward to ! I suffer on occasion with a bad period and it's honestly one of the few things that make me utterly miserable :( Feels like someone digging my ovaries out with teaspoon ! Cant imagine it being worse !! lol ......
How are you feeling otherwise now ? all going good ?
