I am PREGNANT! (edited to add some pics)
It has been soooo long since I came here. Life has been super busy! I miss you all and think of you often. For those of you who are headed to surgery GOOD LUCK ...this will be the best decision you ever made. For those post op I hope you are all doing well.
Matthew and I are expecting a baby in June 2015. This is starting all over for me. I have a 13 year old daughter and a 9 year old son... Matthew does not have any children so this is exciting for us.

Congratulations Julie! I remember following your journey when I was just starting mine. I guess that would be considered one heck of an NSV!! I wish you and Mathew all the best.

I'm doing good. Had some ups and downs since spring (non surgery related), but doing well despite that.
Both boys are in the hockey season so I'm a busy Hockey/Goalie Mom again this fall. I'm enjoying it. Youngest is a Timbit, so just practices but he's at the top of his team. He's waiting for the chance to put on goalie pads (probably closer to Christmas). My oldest's team has played 5 games; won 4 and tied 1 (0 - 0). He's sharing the net, but he's had 5 shutouts so far. He's doing really well this year. And I'm there with a blanket and a hot sea****ching as much as I can. (Attention gets split when they are both on the ice at the same time).

That is so good that the boys are doing so well. Gavin would love to be in hockey but I can't justify the cost, I SUCK at fund raising. I plan to put him in soccer next spring.
Sorry you were not feeling great/battling some things. That stinks but happy you are doing better. I struggled for a while emotionally as well. No fun.

Doing pretty well Julie, thanks for asking. Just hit a minor bump in the road- ended up having a hernia repair 2 weeks ago. Had spent a couple of weeks not being able to hold anything down. 8 days in the hospital and numerous tests and procedures later it was found and fixed. Just trying to get back on track with the eating..had to start back to full fluids for awhile. But definitely glad I had this life altering surgery.
Again, congrats to you! Please keep us posted!
