Got my orientation date!
Hello everyone! I am new to the forum but wanted to share my good news!! My doctor sent my referral out on October 14th and I've already received my orientation notification for December 4th!! I have thought about proceeding with weight loss surgery for over a year and finally decided to ask my physican for a referral. I have my sleep study scheduled for Wednesday so hopefully the process will move ahead without too many delays. I have been reading lots of your posts over the last couple of weeks and really enjoy hearing everyone's experiences! What a great forum!!

wow, that is a fast turnaround! I go for orientation November 13th in Guelph! Quick on the sleep study as well, I'm still waiting to get the call from the specialist myself, but my bloodwork is pretty much done, have to go back though and retest my urine sample... :(

Awesome. I attended Guelph orientation last week so I'll be a month ahead of you (for now anyway); you can see my next dates in my signature to give you an idea of timings.

Guelph - Referral: August '14. Orientation: Oct 23/14. Nurse: Nov 26/14. Dietician/SW: Dec 12/14. Nurse 2/Dietician 2: Jan 20/15. SW 2: Jan 30/15 CLEARED by all 3! Feb '15: H Pylori testing. Pre-surgery nutrition class: Mar 23/15. Meet surgeon: May 22/15 with Dr.Reed Surgeon Appt #2: June 16/15. Surgery date: Aug 20/15.
