I had a quiet day yesterday. Did laundry and went for a couple walks with the dog. Tried a new ground chicken recipe last night, Taco Meatloaf. It did call for ground beef but I used the ground chicken and it was good. So DH wont eat ground chicken, so I will be having it for lunch and dinner.
Out the door to the gym before work soon.
B-coffee, 1/2 c ff cottage cheese, sm banana
S- ( after workout) Quest Bar, 2 melbas w/ 1 oz lf old cheddar
L- 2 oz chicken taco meat loaf, 1/2 c sweet kale salad
S- 1 c NSA Chocolate Almond milk, 1 tsp Macca powder, sweetened w/ stevia, 1/2 scoop whey protein
D- 2 oz chicken meatloaf 3 bite sweet potato

Good morning all. Retirement sounds great Barb. Off to the doctors this morning. I have been trying for over 20 years to find out what is wrong with my knee. I am hoping I will finally get an answer. If it leads to more productive physio that would be great. Also must vote.

Busy weekend and i'm exhausted. I was told on Friday that there is a Venofer shortage, so I might not get my infusion on Thursday. I actually cried when I was told that. I'm barely staying awake past 9, using sleeping pills to sleep. It sucks. BUT, things could be worse. I still have the energy to exercise (somehow), so that makes me happy.
Yesterday we did a 5k run for Variety Village (my daughter's synchro team is there). My friend's kid was running it as well, he's 12 and his goal was to beat me. LOL. He did, by 23 seconds. I didn't do my usual sprint at the end, because i'm a nice lady. I should have paid more attention though, because they gave out medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. I came in 7th. Oh well. It was fun.
Going for another run tonight. Slower pace, probably 10k.

Poor you, Barb, you've got it tough!
Out and about yesterday and then had a visitor so didn't make it to OH yesterday - oops! Going for blood work shortly, have to vote (get out and vote people!), a few errands, not sure what else.

Weight lifting is coming along, have already doubled my starting weight on every machine. Also spent 20 minutes in the "massage chair", which was really nice.
