So this has been the hardest thing I have ever been through. I'm finally home 5 out of the last 8 weeks was spent in the hospital. It has affected my kids so much. I'm really regretting making the decision to get the revision. It's not worth what I have been through.

I'm home with a stomach splint to try and heal the leaks. Also with a drain and a feeding tube. I get nurses coming to the house to keep on top of the feeding tubes.

My lung that collapsed is taking its time to repair I still have alot of shortness of breath.

I've lost 46pds in 2mths and it keeps dropping. I can only get in 700ml with the feeding tube because it keeps leaking around the tube dehydration is such a struggle right now.

Small steps, small goals to getting healthy again.

Hi Dawn

So glad to see your post as I've been following your advice since I joined a year ago. All thinks worth while come with a struggle your revision has to have an excellent outcome as you have had all the struggles in your first 2 months. Good luck and i wont say speedy recovery just a well deserved recovery.

I'm sorry that you and your family are going through all this. Taking babysteps right now, is the best thing to do. It sounds like you are being well monitored through your healing process. It will take time, but I know that every victory you earn, will feel amazing for you.
